Welcome to the Harlington Locomotive Society website.

We have been giving train rides on our Miniature Railway for over seventy five years. A small oasis, set in an orchard in the middle of Harlington village (near Heathrow Airport, West London), we are open to the public on a regular basis from Easter onwards. We also have a day each month set aside for private party bookings (typically birthdays) where you have exclusive access to the site, our facilities and can ride behind the trains that are running as often as you want.

As a model engineering society, we have a broad range of interests within the society, and meet weekly throughout the year.

Running a model railway club such as ours, which relies totally on its volunteer members, is becoming ever more difficult as time passes by.

Our overheads, in particular Insurance and Electricity, are at unprecedented levels and with a diminishing membership it is becoming extremely challenging to function effectively as a club.

So, if you think you could be interested in joining us, would just like to help out with the various things that need doing or if you know of someone else that could possibly get some enjoyment from being involved in the activities of the club then please take a look at our membership page for more information.
